When asked for his comment on the transition of the show to another channel, Sujay Reu shared, “The channel has a special connection with Indian families. I have also grown up watching shows on Sony SAB with my family and it used to be like a family bonding time. It’s surreal to be part of the channel’s legacy now.”

The actor even shared his reaction to the love that he continues to receive from his fans saying that he feels very fortunate for the response he is being showered on. He concluded with, “I think one of the reasons that people appreciated this show is because people can relate to it.”

As Shrimad Ramayan is set to premiere on Sony SAB on August 12, viewers will witness an action-filled episode of the legendary battle between Lord Ram and Ravan. Before the story progresses to showcase what happens after Lord Ram and Sita unite and return to Ayodhya, the show will depict some of the lesser-known stories about the ultimate battle between Ram and Ravan. The Maha episode, further, will see breathtaking battle scenes between good and evil. Brace yourself for some high-octane action and enthralling visual effects as the show brings the most revered epic to life.
