Sara Khan Performs Umrah, Talks About The ‘Value Of Inspiring Others’

Sara Khan recently performed Umrah at the Al-Haram mosque in Mecca. It was during her trip that she found out “why people visit religious sites.” The television actress, best known for her role in Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai visited the holy place with her sister and dropped a string of pictures from the destination on Instagram. Along with the snaps, the Bigg Boss 4 alum revealed the importance of “inspiring” others with her Umrah. She admitted to finding it difficult to understand why the masses took photographs when they went to pilgrimage sites. But her latest appearance at the mosque helped her to finally grasp the reason behind it.

“I used to question why people visit religious sites just to take photos and show off, but when I visited Al-Haram, my family and friends were inspired by me and started planning their trips too. That’s when I realised the value of inspiring others,” wrote Sara Khan in her caption. “Now, I can include Umrah in my travel plans with friends, as they have become more open to the idea,” she added. Sara concluded her long note by expressing gratitude to her “soul sister for being a part of this beautiful journey.”

The pictures capture Sara Khan posing against the crowded Al-Haram mosque, flashing a smile at the camera. Her sister also shared the same frame in one of the clicks.

Reacting to the photographs one social media user greeted, “Umrah Mubarak.” “Amazing, so happy to see you there! Blessed are you,” commented another. Wishing Sara Khan happiness, a third individual wrote, “Mash’Allah, may Allah accept your prayers.”

Sara Khan has amassed a decent fanbase thanks to her performances in soap operas like Bidaai, Preet Se Bandhi Yeh Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, Junoon–Aisi Nafrat Toh and Kaisa Ishq. She catapulted to fame for her stint in the 2007 serial Bidaai. Sara was also a part of reality TV shows like Bigg Boss 4 and Lock Upp. She was last seen in the series Spy Bahu.
