In an interview with Etimes, Pavitra Punia shared, “I don’t know why people feel that it is a shameful thing to enhance your features, but I got my lips enhanced because I used to feel that my lips were very small. She also said that she loves mists and perfumes and has a vast assortment.

Apart from the setback in her professional space, the actress experienced a difficult period personally as well. She lost her father in an accident at home. Reportedly, in November 2023, Pavitra Punia’s father got injured in an accident while cleaning the balcony at their home. He suffered fractures and spent several days in bed. He eventually died from his injuries on November 6.
In order to recover from the loss and start the year with a positive attitude, the actress took a spiritual tour of Vaishno Devi and sought the goddess’ blessings. Pavitra Punia had told ETimes that she is a “very religious person” and a staunch believer in Goddess Durga. She added, “I have started my New Year with divine blessings and what better way to start it with Maa Vaishno Devi, the mother of all. To be able to spend it with her and to give in to all that she is will always be the way I would have wanted to end a year and start a new one. In complete surrender. Whatever will happen is for the good and what went by, happened for the best.”
