After unveiling the Galaxy Note 7 at the Unpacked 2016 in New York earlier this month, Samsung is all set to bring the flagship device in India on August 11.
The Galaxy Note 7 features a new S-Pen and in addition to a fingerprint sensor, the phone also comes with iris scanning technology. It comes with a curved 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The new S Pen, on the other hand, comes with a 0.7mm tip comes with improved pressure sensitivity.
It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and the other four at 1.6 GHz. It includes 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB.
The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is an IP68 water-and-dust resistant device. It draws its juice from a 3500mAh non-removable battery. It features the new USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, and comes with support for wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 gets a similar Dual-Pixel camera seen on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The rear camera has a 12 megapixel, f1.7 camera with optical image stabalisation and for selfies you get a 5 megapixel, f1.7 front camera.
Available in Blue Coral, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx colours, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be priced at Rs 59,990.
