The Samsung Galaxy M31s has reportedly received a price cut in India. According to 91Mobiles, the price cut of Rs 1,000 on both the 6GB + 128GB storage variant and 8GB + 128GB variant is applicable across offline stores, while e-stores including Samsung India shows the old pricing. At the moment, Samsung is yet to announce the price cut on Samsung Galaxy M31s officially. We’ve have also reached out to the company for more clarity and will update the space accordingly.
As per the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy M31s is currently retailing at offline channels at Rs 18,499 instead of Rs 19,499 for the base 6GB RAM variant. The 8GB RAM model is available at Rs 19,499 and Rs 21,499, the report adds. Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy M31s in India in July 2020 in Black and Blue colour options.
For specifications, the Samsung Galaxy M31s comes packed with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display coupled with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 420 nits of brightness. The dual-SIM device will run on Android 10 based One UI on top, out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the phone packs the octa-core Exynos 9611 chipset along with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a microSD card. There is also a 6,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging via the USB Type-C port.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide secondary lens. The camera setup also includes a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel camera at the front, and it offers features like 4K video recording, slow-mo videos, AR Doodle, and AR Emoji. For connectivity, the Galaxy M31s includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
