New Delhi: Samsung just can’t have enough of Apple as the South Korean electronics giant has posted a new video on YouTube that details the design process of its Galaxy S6 Edge. The problem- it looks seriously inspired by the Apple Watch design video.
The video, titled ‘Designing Possible,’ carries a male voice with English accent, talking about the design process of Samsung’s latest flagship device that comes with a curved edge.
MacRumours notes that the video by Samsung is identical to that of Apple Watch owing to the fact that both the narrations have men with similar accents; share similar cinematography; include identical images of lined up components in a dark area as a light zooms over them.
Even as the both the videos are aimed at making people understand the intricate procedure with which the respective tech masterpieces were crafted; Samsung’s video stands apart for focusing on the company as a design company, while the Apple video is more focused on the product.
Jony Ive- the design head at Apple talks in the Watch video, while Samsung’s includes voice which is similar to British actor Richard Ayoade.
Samsung has been accused of copying Apple products in the past and attacked them in its marketing strategies, but this seems like an only incidence after years when the South Korean giant has copied the Cupertino, California company’s design ad.
