Lenovo’s brand Motorola has launched its new affordable smartphone named Moto 1s in China. The phone is priced at the RMB 1,499 (approximately Rs 16,000) and comes in two colour variants, called Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder. There has been no word about an Indian launch or pricing. The device is already available for purchase via Lenovo's online shop as well as Motorola store in China.

The Mot 1s features a 5.7-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio offering FHD+ 2160 x 1080px IPS LCD display, protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass on the front as well as on the back of the smartphone. Moto 1s comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and it is topped with company’s ZUI 3.5 skin. Powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHZ and coupled with 4 GB of RAM. With a storage of 64GB, moto 1s can be expanded up to 128GB through micro SD card. The phone also comes with a P2i nano-coating for water and dust resistance.

In terms of optics, the Moto 1s sports a dual camera setup at the back with a 12-megapixel sensor with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Extra features like background blur, background replacement, time-lapse video, spot colour mode and black-and-white mode all add to the exciting features of the device. The phone comes with a 3,000 mAh battery which is non-removable and supports turbo charge. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. There is a fingerprint sensor as well.
