Barcelona: Microsoft has started sending out media invites for its upcoming press conference at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 on March 2. While the invite does not mention what the company has up its sleeve for the event, rumours claim that the company could unveil the Lumia 1330 - the successor to its 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1320 phablet at the event.
Speculations are rife that the Lumia 1330 will come with a 5.7-inch display, 14-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, quad-core processor, and 32GB of storage.
If other reports are to be believed, Microsoft's March 2 event could only be limited to the launch of a couple of affordable Windows Phone handsets.
The company is unlikely to take the wraps off its new high-end smartphone on March 2. In fact, the new flagship smartphone from Microsoft is expected to arrive later this year.
MWC 2015, which is scheduled to take place from March 2-5, brings the world's mobile and related industry executives under one roof.
