New Delhi: With all the tech giants exploring and experimenting with drones, one designer has envisioned what a drone by Apple might look like. German designer Eric Huisman has come up with a sleek drone concept called the Apple Quadcopter, which has a minimalistic black-and-white design and carries the iconic Apple logo.
Photos of the mean new unmanned device are posted on Huisman's website and stylized to look exactly like the tech giant's traditional promotional pictures. Similar to a typical quadcopter, the Apple drone has four rotors and four cameras that can shoot still and panoramic photos (up to 100MP).
The concept drone also incorporates 4K video functionality and built-in image stabilization. It could also include an option to stream all the footages in real time to sites like YouTube, a report on Mashable noted.
Drones are currently the most sought after tech product that companies are looking at. From delivering food to use in warfare, drones are a controversial but highly potential segment of modern technology.
Amazon's drones, which recently received approval from the FAA to begin testing under certain restrictions, aims to deliver products to customers at home or businesses in about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, Google is also experimenting with solar-powered drones in an attempt to bring web connectivity to some of the 4 billion people without Internet access worldwide. Facebook is also building drones and lasers to get more of the global population online.
