Homegrown smartphone maker Intex added a new smartphone to its portfolio albeit with a little twist.
At an event in New Delhi today, the company launched its Intex Aqua View smartphone with a virtual reality headset - the Intex Eyelet.
The 4G VoLTE phone comes with a 5-inch HD display, 64-bit quad core MTK processor coupled with 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage (expandable upto 32GB) , and 2200mAh battery.
It features an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor.
The highlight of the dual launch is Intex's virtual reality headset that is compatible with the newly launched phone and offers an immersive experience. It is also touted to be the first Google certified cardboard device that has been made in India.
The Intex Aqua phone comes bundled with the Intex Eyelet device at a price of Rs 8,999.
