Infinix Smart 8HD With 'Magic Ring' Launched In India: Price, Specs, And All Details
Infinix has launched the Smart 8HD smartphone in the Indian market, with the price and the 'Magic Ring' feature being major highlights. Here are the details.

Infinix has expanded its lineup of budget smartphones in India with the launch of the Infinix Smart 8HD. This device comes with multiple industry-firsts, including the ‘Magic Ring’ feature, which is reminiscent of the iPhone’s Dynamic Island cutout that debuted with the iPhone 14 Pro, and an 8-megapixel front camera with flash.

Infinix Smart 8HD Price In India

Infinix Smart 8HD has been priced quite aggressively in the Indian market considering its specifications. After bank offers, you can buy the phone for Rs 5,669. However, you will need an Axis Bank Credit card to avail of this price.

Without the card offer, the price of the phone stands at Rs 6,299, making it one of the most budget-friendly devices with a punch-hole display. It is available in three colorways: Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, and Timber Black.

Infinix Smart 8HD Specifications and Features

Infinix Smart 8HD features the octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset, coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand this further using a micro SD card up to 2TB.

For the display, it gets a 6.6-inch IPS HD+ panel that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 500 nits.

Coming to the optics, the brand has included a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a secondary ‘AI lens.’ A highlight of this camera system is its quad LED ring flash, which allows your subjects to be illuminated nicely. On the front, you have an 8-megapixel selfie shooter that is accompanied by a front-facing flash.

Infinix has also not skimped out on biometrics, as the device does offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Plus, you can also unlock it using face unlock. And, to power it all, there’s a 5,000 mAh battery that gets charged using a USB-C port.

Notably, a major highlight of the device is the inclusion of the Magic Ring feature, which is built on top of XOS 13 based on Android 13 Go. It allows for new animations for face unlocking, calls, charging, and reminders for low battery life.
