New Delhi: Details of the HTC's yet-to-be-released Android smartphone, dubbed HTC One M9, have been leaked out on the web, days before the official launch of the device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona.
The leaked information of the phone, which was slated to be unveiled at HTC's March 1 event, contains full specifications of the smartphone and press images with a price of about close to $852 in Germany.
Tech website Mobile Geeks came across the online listings of HTC's One M9, revealing that the latest smartphone will include a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage plus microSD expansion.
The HTC One M9 will include the UltraPixel camera in the front and a new 20-megapixel rear camera, that protrudes slightly from the phone's body. The phone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, along with a new Sense 7 software skin.
The leaked images show the smartphone to be available in two new colours- a combination of gold and silver for a two-tone look and other for a more demure gunmetal gray.
Other specifications include BoomSound speakers, a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. A visible change is the location of the power button to the side of the phone.
The Mobile World Congress will be held from March 2-5 in Barcelona. The annual mobile industry event brings the top companies and its C-suite executives under one roof where they introduce and discuss newer mobile technologies.
