GrokAI From X Now Available In India But Only For These Users: All Details
Grok AI chatbot is available for X Premium users on mobile and web but they need to pay for the highest X subscription.

Elon Musk’s X platform released Grok AI chatbot for users in the US recently and now those of you who have paid for the X Premium plan in India can also experience the AI chatbot from their X account.

In addition, Grok is available in over 40 countries from Thursday, making it a large-scale release for all the X Premium+ users. Grok is based on the Grok-1 LLM developed by X.AI over the last four months. Grok features several differences compared to the most popular chatbots, such as Google Bard and ChatGPT.

Musk had earlier mentioned that Premium+ users from day one have a better chance to access Grok compared to the newer Premium+ subscribers on the platform X. The X Premium+ users can find Grok in the side menu of X on Windows, Android and iOS versions, as long as they are up-to-date. Those using X on the mobile can bring Grok to the bottom menu for easy access.

Musk has talked up the Grok AI chatbot to be a better alternative to ChatGPT and Google’s Bard AI as it can offer replies to ‘spicy questions’ that Musk claims other popular chatbots refrain from answering. Grok can also go through X (Twitter) and access real-time knowledge on the platform to respond accordingly.

He confirmed that to use Grok AI you will need the X Premium+ subscription which is the highest tier plan that X is offering in addition to the X Premium base plan. The X Premium+ plan in India costs Rs 1,300 per month, which also gets you features like edit post button, verified account with the blue tick, ability to upload hi-res videos and have long posts on your feed.

Elon Musk has prior experience in the field of AI thanks to his association with OpenAI and he will be hoping to build a robust AI model and chatbot that not only helps the X users but also does it by following the guidelines.
