New Delhi: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has launched its new Marathon M5 smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 17,999, the phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

The highlight of the phone is its powerful 6020 mAh battery, which is said to keep the phone running for up to 4 days. The phone is also capable of reverse charging, which means it can be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

The Marathon M5 features a 5.5-inch HD display and under its hood is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM.

Running Andorid Lollipop-based Amigo 3.1, the phone includes an internal storage of 32 GB (expandable up to 128 GB).

The Gionee Marathon M5 features a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing shooter. Its IR blaster can turn your Marathon M5 into a smart remote for controlling your TV, AC and other compatible devices.
