New Delhi: Foraying into the Indian smartphone market, Coolpad has launched two new Android phones - Dazen 1 and Dazen X7. The former is priced at Rs 6999, while the latter costs Rs 17,999.
The new dual-SIM phones will be exclusively available in India on Snapdeal from June 9; registrations, however, for the Dazen 1 will open on the e-commerce site starting today.
The Dazen 1 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built–in storage. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 lens and an LED flash. It also features a 5-megapixel FF front camera. The phone is packed with 2500mAh battery. It will come in Moon Dust Grey and Baby Snow White colours.
On the other hand, the Dazen X7 packs a 5.2-inch FHD display, 13MP f/1.8 rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. The phone is powered by an octa-core 1.7 GHz processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage and a 2700mAh battery. The phone will be available in Gold and Titanium white colours.
The new phones "will set the benchmark for LTE devices in India in their respective segments," said Varun Sharma, CEO, Coolpad India.
