Inside Priya Bapat And Umesh Bapat’s Golden Temple Visit With Family

Actors Priya Bapat and Umesh Bapat are one of the cutest couples in the Marathi entertainment industry. They recently visited the Golden Temple, Amritsar. Priya uploaded pictures from their visit on Instagram on January 17. Priya is dressed in a yellow suit, while Umesh donned a blue kurta. They posed for a photo in the backdrop of the Golden Temple. In the last photo, Priya and Umesh have posed with their family members. She attached the religious sermon ‘Ik Onkar Satnam’ to the snaps, sung by Harshdeep Kaur and composed by AR Rahman.

Priya’s fans appreciated the actress for her respectful gesture towards the Golden Temple. One of the fans commented, “You’re in a golden temple on a very special occasion… Today’s guru Gobind Singh Ji jayanti”. Priya replied,” Yes.” Others wrote that she looked lovely in this yellow dress.

Priya is currently at the pinnacle of her acting career. She has entertained the audience with her diverse and nuanced characters in the series Rafuchakkar, City of Dreams, and others. She is currently acting in a lot of Hindi projects as well. Priya interacted with the Rediff portal on this issue. She was asked whether there are biases when a regional actor tries to break into the Hindi space. She said that the struggle was too much for her in the Hindi films. According to Priya, it was difficult to convince someone to believe in her and allow her to pull off a lead character in a language other than Marathi.

She further said, “Here, you are an established actor who has done successful films and then, you move to a completely different zone, where nobody knows you. So you are offered small roles or side characters. That happened to me for about four or five years. I auditioned for every possible big production house that is there, both for leads as well as smaller parts, but things didn’t work out. I think it’s just a matter of time and luck, and somebody trusting you.”

Priya will next act in the film Visfot, directed by Kookie Gulati. This film is currently in the post-production stage and is expected to be released this year.
