Boss Engira Bhaskaran is a Tamil romantic comedy movie, directed and written by M Rajesh. The film stars Arya, Nayanthara and Santhanam as the main characters. It was produced by KS Sreenivasan, with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Boss Engira Bhaskaran was a huge hit, reportedly selling 73 lakh tickets worldwide. It was released on Eid, marking the end of Ramadan, across 240 screens in Tamil Nadu. The film had an impressive average occupancy of 95.5% in theatres on its first day, making it Arya’s best-ever opening day at that time. This popularity led to an increase in both the number of shows and screens. Over its opening weekend, the film made Rs 58 lakh in Chennai according to Behindwoods, while Sify.com reported a gross of Rs 65 lakh. By the end of its second weekend, Boss Engira Bhaskaran had earned Rs 10 crore, showing on 275 screens.
Boss Engira Bhaskaran director M Rajesh is a well-known filmmaker and screenwriter in the Tamil film industry, famous for his comedy movies. He started his career as a director with Siva Manasula Sakthi in 2009. He then directed Boss Engira Bhaskaran in 2010 and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi in 2012. All three of these films were big hits at the box office.
