. Tuichang is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Tuichang falls in Champhai district and North region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 16,195 voters in the seat, which includes 8,066 male voters, and 8,129 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Tuichang recorded a voter turnout of 79.06%. In 2013 the turnout was 85.15%, and in 2008 it was 81.7%.
In 2013, Lalrinliana Sailo of INC won the seat by a margin of 2,985 votes (23.21%). Lalrinliana Sailo secured 48.66% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 881 votes (7.76%), registering 39.02% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, IND led in the Tuichang Assembly segment of the Mizoram Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
