Tharoor set to tie the knot with Pushkar?
Speculation rises after the former Union minister and his "good friend" Sunanda Pushkar performs puja together.

Mumbai: Former Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor was seen with his long-time companion Sunanda Pushkar in Shirdi and at the Shani Shingnapur shrine in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district, fuelling rumours that the two may soon get married.

The Kerala MP, whose divorce came through recently and is listed as a divorcee in Parliament records, was seen performing a ritual alongside Pushkar. But according to some reports, the two will be tying the knot in Thiruvananthapuram on August 17th which is incidentally the Malayalam New Year.

Shashi and Sunanda's relationship came into the limelight during the controversy surrounding the Kochi IPL franchise for which Tharoor had to resign. He said he was making his first visit to the Shirdi temple and also tweeted about his experience.

"Made first visit to Shirdi. Extraordinary temple to Sai baba, who preached Shraddha and Saburi (faith and peace) hundred years back." "Sabka malik ek (1 God)".

Tharoor and Pushkar performed 'abhishek' (offering) at the Shani temple, which also attracts thousands of devouts. Asked about the visit, Tharoor told mediapersons he had performed the ritual for "family peace".

Pushkar was seated to the right of Tharoor while performing the pooja. Tharoor also tweeted about his visit to the Shani temple.

"Wonderful visit 2 (to) open-air temple to Saturn and Shani Shingnapur. Simple ritual in clean, pure surroundings. 1 (One) can nvr (never) know enuf (enough) of our culture," he said.
