New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday moved the Supreme Court in connection with the National Herald case.
The Gandhis challenged the Delhi High Court's decision that upheld lower court summons to both Sonia and Rahul.
In December 2015, the Congress leaders were granted bail by a Delhi court in connection with the case.
Rahul and Sonia had sought and were granted bail in the National Herald case after the court in Delhi rejected complainant Subramanian Swamy's opposition to relief for them on the ground that they are influential and can flee the country.
Swamy had lodged a private criminal complaint against the mother and son for cheating, conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.
