PM Modi, Amit Shah host 'Diwali Milan' for journalists

A day after meeting Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh, PM Narendra Modi organised a luncheon meeting with the representatives of the media fraternity.

The Prime Minister hosted a luncheon meet for journalists in the national capital on Saturday.

Several Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including party president Amit Shah, and journalists from across media organisations were present at the function.

Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu, Nirmala Sitharaman are attended the event.

The event was a 'Diwali Milan', originally slated to be held earlier, but could not happen reportedly because of PM's busy schedule.

In 2014 as well, PM Modi had organised an interaction with the media fraternity.
