Politburo leader Sitaram Yechury says party finalizing post-poll plan.
New Delhi: The Communist Party of India-Marxist will decide on any post-poll alliance only after the results are out, CPI-M politburo member Sitaram Yechury said on Tuesday.
"Decisions are not taken by an individual," he told reporters when asked to comment on West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee remarks on Monday that the Congress was not untouchable.
"What Buddha meant (was) that the politburo will decide after May 16," he explained.
Bhattacharya had also said that CPI-M general secretary Prakash Karat's statement about not supporting a Congress-led government was "our party's pre-poll position".
