Bangalore: Under pressure for his alleged involvement in the land scam, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa has called a cabinet meeting on Thursday evening.
The BJP government is expected to order judicial probe into the scams.
Meanwhile, the political storm in Karnataka over Yeddyurappa's involvement in the land scam continued as Congress MPs from the state staged protest outside the parliament.
Amidst the rising heat over the scam, Yeddyurappa complained to BJP president Nitin Gadkari about attempts being made by detractors from within the party to dislodge him.
The Karnataka CM downplayed also reports of the RSS intention to change the state leadership as fuelled by the media.
A confident Yeddyurappa said that he spoke Nitin Gadkari, who is happy with the state government's performance.
