New Delhi: Delhi Police has registered an FIR against BJP MLA Vijay Jolly for vandalising Tehelka Managing Editor Shoma Chaudhury's house in protest for her response in the sexual assault case involving magazine'Founder-Editor Tarun Tejpal.
Charges of wrongful restraint and property defacement were leveled against Jolly.
The NCW had asked the Delhi Police to file an FIR against those who vandalised Shoma Chaudhury's house.
Interestingly, Jolly remained defiant and refused to tender an apology to Shoma Chaudhury and instead said that he had no personal agenda against her.
He, however, demanded immediate arrest of Tarun Tejpal after a woman journalist alleged that she was sexually assaulted by him.
