New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has hit out at the Election Commission, accusing it of stepping outside their Constitutional mandate.

The Election Commission has retorted by saying that it was only acting within its limits. Over the last few months, the EC had asked the Punjab government to carry out certain transfers which were not done.
