New Delhi: In an exclusive interview with CNN IBN, the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate LK Advani said that AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa could be a potential ally.
“Parties which are not in talks with us right now, but which can not and will not form an alliance with the Congress will ally with BJP,” said the senior BJP leader.
On whether the back channels were still open to the likes of leaders like Mayawati and Jayalalithaa, Advani said an emphatic “Yes” to the name of the AIADMK chief's name.
He also accused the government of indecisiveness in handling the investigation of lone captured terrorist from Mumbai attacks, Ajmal Amir KasabKasab.
Debating on whether the Kasab case was one of indecision or plain diplomacy, Advani said, “I think it is more of indecision and the lack of a single person at the helm of affairs. But yes, it is a fact that this is the first time that someone accused in a case of this sort has been captured alive.”
