55. Bindranawagarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Mahasamund Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bindranawagarh falls in Gariaband district and Central region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,10,629 voters in the seat, which includes 1,03,781 male voters, and 1,06,841 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Bindranawagarh recorded a voter turnout of 85.74%. In 2013 the turnout was 83.59%, and in 2008 it was 73.09%.

In 2013, Govardhan Singh Manjhi of BJP won the seat by a margin of 30,536 votes (19.09%). Govardhan Singh Manjhi secured 53.66% of the total votes polled.
