43. Bilaigarh is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Jangir-Champa (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bilaigarh falls in Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara district and Central region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a semi-urban seat.
There are a total of 2,77,044 voters in the seat, which includes 1,39,952 male voters, and 1,37,080 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Bilaigarh recorded a voter turnout of 71.21%. In 2013 the turnout was 72.47%, and in 2008 it was 67.13%.
In 2013, Dr Sanam Jangre of BJP won the seat by a margin of 12,695 votes (6.98%). Dr Sanam Jangre secured 39.26% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 13,622 votes (9.26%), registering 37.98% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Bilaigarh Assembly segment of the Jangir-Champa (SC) Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
