The Noida Authority is reportedly preparing to launch a new plot scheme across multiple categories. This upcoming scheme is expected to offer plots in various sizes and locations within Noida.
Details about the application process, plot sizes, and pricing are anticipated to be announced soon.
According to a report by HT, the scheme is likely to include plots in residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial categories.
NOIDA, or New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, is a planned city in Uttar Pradesh and part of the National Capital Region (NCR), adjacent to Delhi. Established to promote industrial and urban development, NOIDA has become a major hub for businesses, technology firms, and real estate.
The report also mentioned that the authority plans to cancel the allotments of plots that have remained vacant for over a decade, where owners have failed to develop the land within the given timeframe.
Officials have reviewed the status of these vacant plots across sectors like industrial, residential, commercial, group housing, institutional, and IT. They have instructed that these plots be included in future schemes after conducting a thorough survey.
Additionally, the authority intends to seize vacant lands from developers who owe money to the government, a move aimed at protecting the interests of homebuyers.
