‘Yeh Jeet Khaas Hai, Logon Ko Modi ji Pe Vishwas Hai’: Union Minister Anurag Thakur on BJP’s Sweep in 3 States

Anurag Thakur, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister for I&B and Youth Affairs & Sports, while speaking exclusively to News18, hailed the “Modi magic”, as he thanked the voters for the party’s success in three of the four states, results for which were announced on Sunday.

“I would like to thank the people of Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rajasthan and MP. Modi magic has worked…Yeh jeet khas hai, logon ko Modi ji pe vishwas hai (This win is special as it has shown people’s trust in Modiji),” he said.

“In the past four years, every time, PM Modi has been picked up as the most popular leader. PM Modi is working 24×7…There is only one guarantee which works in India which is Modi guarantee. People have faith in PM Modi and BJP’s policies. We have worked as double-engine and delivered,” said Thakur.

Highlighting what makes the BJP different from other parties, he said, “We are a worker-driven party…This makes the BJP stand out against parivarvadi parties. We got blessings from women. The BJP has fulfilled the promise under Nari Shakti Vandanam. Others only promised, but we delivered. Last time, we had 7% votes…today we had 15% votes in Telangana. The BJP is getting stronger in Telangana.”

“If you hold elections today in Himachal and Karnataka, the Congress won’t win more than 25% seats as they have not fulfilled their promises. People know that they have been fooled by the Congress party,” he said.

Rubbishing the Opposition alliance against the BJP for the 2024 polls, Thakur said, “Where is the INDI Alliance?…This election mein na sur na tal na rag tha…they don’t have a leader or an ideology… Their arrogance is broken. Their real face is shown to the people. Up to people to make us win”
