The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced vacancies for various posts such as Assistant Director, Deputy Central Intelligence Officer, and Assistant Hydrogeologist. Candidates can go through the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in and submit the application form. Candidates should note that the application process is underway, and the last date for submitting the application form is November 30. However, the last date for printing the application form is December 1.

The UPSC recruitment drive is being conducted with the aim of filling three vacancies in the department. Out of which one vacancy each is for the post of Assistant Director, Assistant Hydrogeologist, and Deputy Central Intelligence Officer.

UPSC Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts must be 35 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Director: MSc in Agronomy or Crop Physiology or Agricultural Physics or Agricultural Meteorology from a recognised university.

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the disciplines of Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognised university or institute OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Application or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.

Assistant Hydrogeologist: Candidates must possess a Master of Science Degree in Geology or Geo-exploration or Applied Geology or Hydrogeology or Master of Technology or Earth Science and Resource Management in Engineering Geology from a recognised University.

UPSC Recruitment 2023: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that says, “ONLINE RECRUITMENT APPLICATION (ORA) FOR VARIOUS RECRUITMENT POSTS” on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen, register yourself providing the accurate and valid details

Step 4: Log in using your registration information and fill out the application form

Step 5: Upload the relevant documents in the mentioned size and format

Step 6: Pay the prescribed application fee, if applicable and submit the form

Step 7: After submitting, download the submitted application form

Step 8: Print a hard copy of the application form for future reference.

UPSC Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

Candidates applying for the Assistant Director, Deputy Central Intelligence Officer, and Assistant Hydrogeologist posts are required to pay an application fee of Rs 25 (Rupees Twenty-five) only at the time of registration either by remitting the money in any SBI branch by cash or through net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/ Master/ Rupay/ Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI payment. However, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) and female candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
