Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday participated in the ‘Swacchata Hi Seva’ campaign alongside wrestler-turned-social media influencer, ‘Ram Ram Sareya Ne’ fame Ankit Baiyanpuriya. In a video shared by PM Modi, he can be seen taking up a broom and cleaning the ground with Ankit.
“Today, as the nation focuses on Swachhata, Ankit Baiyanpuriya and I did the same! Beyond just cleanliness, we blended fitness and well-being also into the mix. It is all about that Swachh and Swasth Bharat vibe!

The country took part in the one-hour cleanliness drive today on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal. As a run-up to Gandhi Jayanti, PM Modi urged citizens to join the ‘Shramdaan’, a cleanliness initiative as part of Swachh Bharat today at 10 am.
Last week, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs A nationwide cleanliness drive will be conducted on October 1 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for “one hour of shramdaan for swachhata”.
During the 105th episode of Mann ki Baat, earlier this month PM Modi had appealed for “one hour of shramdaan for swachhata” on October 1 by all citizens and called it a ‘swachhanjali’ to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his jayanti.

- “This initiative has been taken up to keep our country clean. We as artists try to create awareness through our art, ” Patnaik said.
- Mumbai is all set to participate in the mega clean-up drive today as part of the Union government’s ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.
- According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the cleanliness drive will take place in as many as 178 different locations in the city on Sunday.
- These 178 locations include various beaches, markets, religious sites, railway stations and bus stops.
