On Cam | RPF Officer's Quick Action Saves Woman From Slipping Under Moving Train

A Railway Protection Force (RPF) officer saved the life of a woman who slipped and fell while boarding a moving train on Wednesday. The footage was captured on the CCTV camera and has gone viral on social media.

In the video, a couple was seen rushing towards a moving express train as it was leaving the railway station. However, in an attempt to board the train, the woman holds a handle and jumps towards a coach. Suddenly, she slips and falls. An RPF woman officer springs into action and becomes her saviour.

The woman officer pulls her out of the moving train and prevents her from falling between the platform gap. Sharing the video on the microblogging site, X Western Railway appreciates the officer for her prompt action and calls her a warrior.

Earlier this year, an RPF constable rescued a woman passenger who tripped while attempting to board a moving passenger train at Ganjbasoda railway station in Madhya Pradesh. The constable swept into quick action, helped the woman board the train to avert what could have been a major accident.

The video, which captured the courageous act of the constable had taken the internet by storm. It has garnered widespread attention. RPF India shared a video of the incident and urged passengers to not try boarding or deboarding a moving train.

The video was posted with a message in Hindi that roughly translated to, “Constable Dhirendra Singh, posted at Ganjbasoda railway station, saved a woman passenger boarding a moving train from falling between the platform and the train. Passengers, please do not try to board or deboard a moving train, your small mistake can cause a big accident.”
