Lok Sabha Intruders Planned Self-Immolation But What Went Wrong With Lalit Jha's 'Gel Plan'
The police have stated that Lalit Jha has not been very cooperative in the probe and is frequently changing his statements to mislead the investigation.

As Delhi Police continues to investigate Parliament security breach conspiracy, key conspirator Lalit Mohan Jha made some shocking revelations during the interrogation and said that he and other members of the group had originally planned to immolate themselves inside and outside Parliament. However, he revealed that the plan to self-immolate was to be acted upon only after applying a ‘fire retardant gel’ to minimise injuries.

Further revealing the reason behind abandoning the plan, Jha said that they had to drop the idea as they could not source the gel. The idea to drop smoke canisters inside the Lok Sabha was part of ‘Plan B’, Jha informed.

Why Mobile Phones were burnt and destroyed?

During the interrogation, Jha also admitted to having burnt and destroyed the mobile phones belonging to him and his teammates. Jha, also known as ‘Masterji’, said that he fled with the mobile phones of his co-accused from outside Parliament on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the police have stated that Jha has not been very cooperative in the probe and is frequently changing his statements to mislead the investigation.
