The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon begin accepting applications for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2024. Dates for the first and second sessions of exams were recently released by the National Testing Agency. The NTA exam calendar 2024, which was published on nta.ac.in, indicates that the session 1 test for JEE Main 2024 will take place in January and the session 2 exam in April. The Session 1 test will take place between January 24 and February 1, while the Session 2 exam will take place between April 1 and April 15. These dates are listed in the NTA test Calendar for 2024.

Based on prior trends, JEE Mains registration generally begins around December. As a result, it is anticipated that the JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 registration process will begin in December this year as well. However, there has been no formal confirmation of the start date of the JEE Mains Registration.

The announcement from the National Testing Agency stated, “The Examination Specific details shall be informed to candidates through the Information Bulletin of respective Examinations, which will be published at the time of launch of Registration Forms of these Examinations.”

JEE MAIN 2024 APPLICATION FORM: HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in, the JEE Main website.

Step 2: Select “JEE Main 2024 session 1 registration” from the list of links.

Step 3: Fill out the application form by entering the application number and password.

Step 4: Enter your personal and academic information and submit the necessary files in accordance with the requirements.

Step 5: Complete the online application fee payment for JEE Main 2024.

Step 6: Submit the application form and download a copy of the JEE Mains 2024 session 1 application form.

The syllabus for JEE Mains 2024 will be centred on Class 11 and 12 subjects – Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Along with the JEE Main announcement 2024, NTA will release the JEE Mains 2024 curriculum with weightage.

There are two papers in the JEE Mains. Admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (B.E./B.Tech.) at prestigious institutions like NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), as well as Institutions/Universities recognised by participating State Governments, is determined by these JEE Mains.

Additionally, JEE Main is the necessary prerequisite for passing the JEE (Advanced), which is mandatory for securing admission to an IIT. Paper 2 is required for admission to the B. Arch and B. Planning programmes.
