5 Players RR Can Target at IPL 2024 Auction

Harry Brook

The Englishman was a rage last season and the bidding war ensured an eye-watering selling price for the batter. With a string of failures and the price-tag pressure telling on Brook’s approach, he was let go back in the auction. RR had bid for the player then and can another chance on middle-order batter coming good, given his tremendous potential.

Rovman Powell

The West Indian captain has been in terrific form with his bit hitting prowess. Powell is known for his ball-striking capabilities and can be the prefect player to slot in at the lower-order for the Royals, something that has troubled them in the seasons past.

Jimmy Neesham

The Kiwi all-rounder can be an option for RR. His double-faceted abilities mean he can slot in perfectly in the lower to middle order in the batting line-up and chip in with a few overs too if and when needed.

Ramandeep Singh

The Punjab-born all-rounder has been in the headlines during the Vijay Hazare Trophy matches. Primarily a bowler, his skills with the bat have catapulted him into the limelight. A pace-bowling all-rounder will be on the radar for most IPL teams but RR can offer him game time given their uncertainties in that department.

Shardul Thakur

The Indian all-rounder will surely be on the list of targets for Rajasthan. Thakur’s experience will also come handy down the order, apart from his role with the ball in the middle overs. Getting a high-profile Indian all-rounder may prove too pricey for RR though.
