Pakistan recorded their third-lowest total against India after Babar Azam and Co. were all out for a mere 191-run total at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, October 14. Babar Azam scored a fifty while Mohammad Rizwan scored 49 runs but the rest of the batters failed to leave an impact.

Pakistan were invited to bat first after Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl, but five Indian bowlers picked up two wickets each for only the third time in ODI cricket.

The lowest total recorded by Pakistan against India was way back in March 1992 when they had slumped to 173 runs in 48.1 overs at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The second-lowest total by Pakistan was in June 1999, when they were bowled out for 180 runs in 45.3 overs at the Old Trafford in Manchester.

Pakistan had actually started well at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, as openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq stitched a 41-run partnership but Mohammed Siraj broke the stand.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan then scored 82 runs but once Siraj dismissed Babar, it opened the floodgates for Indian bowlers. Kuldeep Yadav exposed the middle order with two quick wickets, dismissing Saud Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed in the space of five balls.

Pakistan were at 155/2 and they were bowled out for 191 runs, losing a colossal 8 wickets in 36 balls.
