IGNOU Extends Registration Deadline For July Session Admission to Online, ODL Courses

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the July 2023 session admission yet again. The last date to register for the IGNOU Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes is now October 20. Interested and eligible candidates may complete their registration on any of the official websites — ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

IGNOU July Admission 2023: Documents Required to Apply

While submitting applications online for the July session admission, candidates must have the following documents:

— a photograph (with a file size of under 100 KB),

— a signature (also under 100 KB), a copy of pertinent educational attainment (under 200 KB),

— a potential experience certificate copy (if applicable, under 200 KB), and

— a category certificate copy in cases of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Caste status (again under 200 KB).

STEP 3: Fill in the form

STEP 4: Pay the fees, submit

STEP 5: Download and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

IGNOU began the July 2023 re-registration on May 8. Earlier, the last date to apply for the July session was set at September 30 which was later extended to October 10. The university has now once again extended the registration deadline to October 20. Through the July session admission, candidates can apply for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes, postgraduate certificate (PG certificate), postgraduate diploma (PGD), certificate, and diploma programmes.
