GATE 2024 Registration Deadline Extended Till October 5

The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (IISc) has extended the online registration deadline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024. As per the latest updates, the last date to apply for the GATE 2024 (without a late fee) has been extended till October 5. Candidates who have still not registered for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can do so by visiting the official portal of IISc GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Earlier, the last date to apply for the aptitude exam was September 29.

The online registration process for GATE 2024 started on August 30. The other dates like the extended online registration last date (with a late fee) remain the same which is October 13. Candidates will be allowed to edit their GATE 2024 application forms from November 7 to November 11.

“GATE 2024 team has decided to extend the deadline for registration without late fee until Oct 5th, 2023. However, please do not wait until the last moment of this extended deadline!!!,” the official handle of GATE 2024 posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Students are advised to not wait until the last date to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 and register for it right away.

GATE 2024: Steps To Register

Step 1: Go to the official website of IISc GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: Search and click on the registration link that is on the homepage and enter the required details.

Step 3: Once the registration process is done, log in to the account.

Step 4: Fill out the application form as required and make the necessary payment of the application fees.

Step 5: Cross-check all the details and click on submit.

According to the Times of India, the institute received more than 1.37 lakh applications for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 on September 29. Hence, the GATE 2024 registration deadline (without a late fee) has been extended to allow more aspirants to apply.

As per the schedule, the GATE exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, and 10, 11, 2024. The admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be released on January 3, 2024. Once the exam is ended, the answer keys will be issued on February 21, 2024. While the result will be declared on March 16, 2024.
