CBSE: Students who don't register by today may still submit their applications by paying late fees between October 19 and 25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is slated to close the Class 10, 12 examination form submission process for private students today, October 18. Through the official website, cbse.gov.in, students can register for the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams in 2024 without paying a late fee. Students who don’t register by today may still submit their applications by paying late fees between October 19 and October 25.

Along with the regular CBSE board exams, the exams for private candidates will be held in 2024 between February and April. Private applicants who plan to sit for the board examinations must register at the earliest. According to the board, private candidates will not be allowed to choose courses that call for laboratory work. Private students will have access only to the subjects that are automatically generated and made available on the CBSE’s website.

Students who failed or had to retake their board exams between the academic years 2018 and 2022 are among those eligible to submit their exam forms. Those who passed the board exams this year and want to enhance their performance can also sit for the private examinations in 2024.

CBSE Board Exam 2024 for Private Students:Steps to Apply

Students can follow the instructions given below to finish the application process.

Step 1: Go to the CBSE’s official website.

Step 2: Select the link for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 private candidates’ application form.

Step 3: Select an appropriate application link and fill out all of the required fields.

Step 4: Pay the application fee for the board verify and save the completed application.

Step 5: Submit the CBSE Board Exam 2024 Application Form for Private Students.

Step 6: Download and print a copy of the CBSE application form for Private Students for future reference.

For Indian students taking the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams, the cost is Rs 300 per subject and Rs 1,500 for five subjects. Students who reside outside India must pay Rs 2,000 for each course and Rs 10,000 for five subjects. The application cost for the practical test is Rs 150 for each project work and Rs 350 for each practical task for international students.

Furthermore, candidates should be aware that simply submitting the application form and paying the fee does not entitle them to sit in the examination. If candidates satisfy the board’s eligibility conditions, then they will be deemed eligible to appear for the exam.
