CAT 2023: It is mandatory for candidates taking the MBA entrance exam on November 26 to bring their valid IDs and their admit card to the exam venue

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 admit card has been issued by the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow today, November 7. Registered applicants can access their CAT hall tickets from the official website, iimcat.ac.in. It is mandatory for candidates who are taking the MBA entrance exam on November 26 to bring their valid government ID and their admit card to the exam venue. The CAT 2023 will be administered over three shifts: morning, afternoon, and evening. The morning shift runs from 8.30 am to 10.30 am, the afternoon shift is from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm, and the evening shift goes from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

In order to obtain the CAT hall ticket, candidates must log in using their registered user ID and password. The candidates’ information, including their CAT application number, roll number, exam centre, reporting time to the exam centre, exam time, and CAT 2023 exam instructions, will be included on their admission card.

CAT 2023 ADMIT CARD: HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Step 1: Visit iimcat.ac.in, the official website for CAT admissions.

Step 2: Select the link that reads “Download IIM CAT Admit Card 2023.”

Step 3: Next, provide your credentials for login, including your registered user ID and password, and click “Submit.”

Step 4: A screen will display the CAT 2023 admission card.

Step 5: Print the CAT 2023 hall ticket after downloading it for your records.

There are three sections to the computer-based CAT entrance exam, which consists of 100 questions and every section has a 40-minute time limit. In the test, three marks are awarded for every correct answer. However, for each incorrect response, candidates would lose one mark.

There will be 22 questions in the Quantitative Aptitude section, worth 66 marks. The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension test includes 24 questions, worth 72 marks. The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning part will consist of 20 questions for 60 marks. The applicants’ test scores will go through a normalisation procedure to ensure impartiality and equity in the evaluation of their results across many exam sessions.

In comparison to the previous year, there were 75,000 more MBA applicants this year with 3.3 lakh CAT registration forms filed. Based on CAT 2023 results, a total of 1,164 MBA colleges—1,026 private and 138 government—will admit students for postgraduate management degrees.
