BSE Odisha 10th Result 2021 HIGHLIGHTS: It is a good result or Odisha students. Among one of the first board exam results, the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has not disappointed students. The Board has seen one of the highest pass percentage of recent times with as many as 98.7 per cent of students clearing the exam. This year over 5.7 lakh students had registered to appear for the exams of which 5.62 lakh students have cleared the matric exam and now will be seeking admission in class 11.

This is the first time that Odisha has declared the results without holding any exams at all or having a zero exam year. The result is based on class 9 exam marks and class 10 practice exams. In case a student is unhappy with their result, they can apply to appear for exams. While the dates of such exams have not been announced, the state minister Sameer Dash has said that the application process for the same will begin from July 5 at board’s official websites.

The result was declared at around 4 pm, however, the result link has just been activated at 6:45. Students can check their results at bseodisha.ac.in, bseodisha.nic.in, and orrisaresults.nic.in. Partner website, indiaresult.com is also hosting the results. A printout of the online result will act as the provisional marksheet and will be accepted for classs 11 admissions.

Odisha Board BSE Class 10th Result 2021 HIGHLIGHTS: The result was submitted with BSE Odisha by the Result Committee at around 1 after which the BSE Odisha reviewed the result. This held power importance as this year schools had to prepare the results and the board had to ensure that no malpractice is conducted. The result has been announced at around 4 pm. Students will get to check their results at official websites – bseodisha.nic.in, bseodisha.ac.nic, orissaresults.nic.in, and indiaresult.com. The printout of the online results displayed at these websites will be considered as a provisional marksheet for students.

Since this year, exams were not held, the result is calculated by class 9 and 10 scores. For their performance in class 9 half-yearly exams and class 9 final exams, students will get 40 per cent marks. Of the four practice tests held for class 10 this year, the best of two will be considered per student in each subject. These papers will make 60 per cent of the total marks. For students who could not appear for any class 10 exams, the class 9 half-yearly and finals will be the only form of assessment.

About five lakh students are expected to get their results today. Over 5.34 lakh students had appeared for the exams in 2020, out of which 4.21 lakh had passed. A total of 1279 students got an A1 grade while 8458 got an A2 grade. Last year, 78.76 per cent of students managed to pass the class 10 exams whereas the pass percentage in 2019 was 70.78 per cent.
