Ridhi Dogra Says Fans Met Her As 'Jawan Ki Mummy' During Dunki's Interval: 'I'm Proud Of My Son...'

After an illustrious career in television, Ridhi Dogra is also conquering the big screen by getting cast in big films alongside superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Ridhi played the role of Shah Rukh’s adoptive mother in Jawan and the role of Emraan Hashmi’s wife in Tiger 3. Ridhi, who recently went to watch Dunki, said she was in for a pleasant surprise.

Taking to her X account, she wrote that fans came up to her during the interval and met her as ‘Jawan ki mummy’. Her tweet read, “Watching #dunki and it’s interval and people are stopping by and meeting me as #jawan ki mummy ! Yes yes I’m proud of my son and his new film.”

Many took to the reply section and wrote how she made a place for herself in their hearts as Kaveri Amma. One user wrote, “Like mother like son”, another wrote, ” kaveri Amma, aap hamare Diloon main bas chuki ho”.

During an earlier chat with News18, Ridhi had said, “Ridhi Dogra tells us that her love story with Shah Rukh dates back to decades and it all started in the year 1993. “I was ten years of age when Shah Rukh Khan, the phenomenon, came about. I remember being blown away him. The first time I fell in love with him was during Darr. I think I was in the fifth grade at that time”.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki had a non-holiday release and witnessed a good opening day at the box office. The film, which marks SRK’s third release of the year, is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and collected Rs 30 crores at the box office on release day and Rs 49.20 on day 2.
