Paps Mistake Rhea Chakraborty's Brother For Her BF, Upset Actress Says, 'Aise Logo Ki Wajah Se...'

Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s daughter Ira Khan got married to her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on Wednesday, January 10. After a registration ceremony in Mumbai on January 3, the couple held a ‘white wedding’ in Udaipur on Wednesday. Aamir hosted a grand reception for his Bollywood colleagues and friends at the BKC Jio Centre on Saturday. And in attendance, of course, are his Bollywood colleagues and friends. Among them were Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty. Rhea looked lovely in a beige saree for the wedding reception.

As the actress posed with her brother on the green carpet, a paparazzo was heard saying “Nice jodi” only to be corrected by another. To this, a visibly upset Rhea said, “Aise hee logo ke wajah se rumours shuru hotey hain.”

In a candid conversation with Chetan Bhagat on his chat show, Deeptalk With Chetan Bhagat, after securing bail, Rhea shared that she performed a ‘Naagin’ dance for fellow jail inmates. Despite feeling ‘heartbroken’ due to her brother not being granted bail alongside her, she kept her promise and entertained the inmates with the dance. She added, ‘The jailer came up to me and said, ‘I have told them that you won’t dance’. But I told the jailer, ‘I want to [dance] for them because when am I going to see these women again?” I did a full-on Naagin dance, that too on the floor, on the song ‘Naagin Gin Gin’. Everyone did a dance performance with me. They were so happy that I was going home. They told me, ‘Just be happy. Have a good life.’ Take a look at the video.

In September 2020, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June 2020. The two were dating at the time of the latter’s death, leading to Rhea’s 28-day imprisonment before being granted bail.
