Lee Jong-suk To Establish His Own Production Company: Reports

South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk is planning to establish his own production company once again. It is suggested he is in talks to sign an exclusive contract with Ace Factory, while also aiming to launch his solo management firm, as per Soompi. A source close to Ace Factory shed light on the ongoing speculation on Wednesday, November 8 hinting the materialization of his solo-owned firm might take place in early 2024. “Lee Jong Suk is preparing to establish a production company, and he is in talks with Ace Factory to collaborate on production and sign an exclusive management contract,” reportedly said the insider.

Who is Lee Jong-suk currently affiliated with?

It was in September when the Pinnochio star confirmed his plans to part ways with HighZium Studio. Notably, at the beginning of his career, the South Korean actor was working with Wellmade Yedang. He reportedly joined YG Entertainment in 2016, known for managing BLACKPINK, actors Yoo In-na of the Goblin fame, and Shooting Stars’ Lee Sung-kyung, among many others. But the new merger didn’t last long as the Big Mouth star terminated his contract only months later to establish his first solo agency titled A-man Project.

In 2022, Lee Jong-suk signed a strategic partnership with Descendants of the Sun actor Song Joong-ki’s HighZium Studio. Now, a year later the partnership met its conclusion. “The strategic partnership established last year between HighZium Studio and A-Man Project will conclude at the end of October, with actor Lee Jong-suk’s ‘2023 Fan Meeting Tour’ being the studio’s last management duty,” stated a report by AllKPop in September.

HighZium is also the company of actress Kim Ji Won of the Fight For My Way and My Liberation Notes fame.

On the acting front, Lee Jong-suk was last seen in the action thriller film Decibel by Spellbound director Hwang In-ho. Additionally, his latest K-drama appearance was opposite actress Girls’ Generation’s I’m Yoon-ah in Big Mouth. The show features Lee Jong-suk as a lawyer, who gets caught up in a heinous murder case.

He also garnered significant traction on social media last December when he went public with his relationship with musician and actress IU.
