Since it was first announced that Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan would be collaborating on an action film called Fighter, fans have been waiting with bated breath for the first glimpse of the film. As Deepika and Hrithik are two of the biggest superstars in Bollywood, their first on-screen collaboration has created a lot of anticipation around the film.
Looks like the wait is about to be over for Deepika and Hrithik’s fans. The makers announced on Thursday, November 7 that the film’s teaser will be released on Friday, December 8 at 11 am. Deepika Padukone also announced this on Instagram with the caption, “Locked. Loaded.Ready to Drop.”

The teaser drop announcement was accompanied by an interesting video. The video features a radio conversation between Hrithik and Deepika’s characters Patty and Minni. Patty asks, “Minni can you see the target?” Minni replies, “Clear as crystal, Patty. Standing by for instructions.” “Command requesting permission to drop the payload,” Hrithik’s Patty says. They are then told that they have permission to drop the teaser on December 8 at 11 am.
Fans took over the comments section to express their excitement. One person wrote, “Minni coming to steal the show .” Another added, “Can’t wait .” One person wrote, “From this announcement, I am sure the film will be wonderful and exciting.” Another added, “Can’t Wait For Mini & Patty.” One person wrote, “This will be Blockbuster ❤️.”
Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film is set to transcend boundaries with its stellar cast and gripping storyline. Expectations from the actioner are pretty high as it marks the third collaboration between Siddharth and Hrithik, who have earlier delivered blockbusters like Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019).
The film’s release date is set for January 25, 2024, on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day.
