Animal: Anil Kapoor Thanks Mahesh Babu For Gracing Event In Hyderabad, Says 'His Star Burns So Bright'

Ranbir Kapoor has been in the headlines after Animal trailer was released. Fans are eagerly waiting for its release. The action thriller also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. Recently, the makers had organised a pre-release event in Hyderabad and stars like Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli were present to witness the mania. Now Anil Kapoor has shared experience from the event.

Sharing a clip on his X(formerly Twitter) handle that featured his speech in Telugu at the event, Anil Kapoor wrote, “I’m still buzzing from the energy of this phenomenal event! I could not have imagined a better blessing for our film than the love, warmth and generosity showered on us by people of Hyderabad…A special note of thanks to @urstrulyMahesh for gracing this event. His star burns so bright, it lit up the entire arena! Sending a prayer of thanks to the late Bapu saab for introducing me to the incredible world of Tollywood and directing me in my first ever Telugu film Here’s hoping my bond with Hyderabad grows only deeper with #Animal! @VenkyMama @imvangasandeep @TSeries.”

The excitement surrounding Animal reached new heights just ahead of release as the iconic film director SS Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu joined forces with lead stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol alongside producer Bhushan Kumar and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. A grand promotional event was held in Hyderabad on Monday.

Meanwhile, onstage, Anil Kapoor mentioned that Bobby Deol playfully calls him ‘besharam’ because he’s always ready to dance, even at midnight. Anil then invited Mahesh Babu to join him in dancing to one of the latter’s hit tracks and asked Ranbir to join them as well. Despite Ranbir initially gesturing a polite no, Anil Kapoor jokingly said to the both of them, “You can’t say no to me; I am your senior!” Eventually, Ranbir, Bobby Deol, and Mahesh Babu joined Anil Kapoor in an impromptu jig to one of Mahesh Babu’s popular songs. Although Mahesh Babu didn’t dance, he gave Anil Kapoor a warm hug.

Animal is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi film after Kabir Singh. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in lead roles. It is co-produced by T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures.
