Zubeen Garg Reacts As Female Cop Gets Suspended For Kissing and Hugging Him: 'I Am Feeling Bad'

Singer Zubeen Garg, who enjoys a massive fan following in the North-eastern states, has expressed disappointment as a female cop has been suspended for hugging and kissing him. Garg was recently performing at an event when a lady cop went up on the stage and got emotional. She hugged and kissed the singer but was later suspended because of the same.

Zubeen Garg Says He Is ‘Feeling Bad’

Zubeen Garg was recently speaking to Hindustan Times when he condemned the suspension of the female cop. He shared that everyone has a right to express their emotions and voiced his support for the police personnel.

“She shouldn’t have been suspended. I am posting on social media as well, I got to know on Wednesday, the concert happened a week ago. It’s not a bad thing that she came, hugged and cried. I am feeling bad about it as someone she admires. I don’t know exactly what led to the suspension. I will take some action for sure on this,” he said.

Later, he also took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “I know there are norms attached to uniforms. But, love is, and must not be, a punishable offence.” Check out his post here:

Who Is Zubeen Garg?

Zubeen is best known for his song Ya Ali, which he sang for Emran Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut’s Gangster. The song continues to remain an iconic track among music lovers. He also sang the track Dil Tu Hi Bataa for Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3, which was another hit song.
