When the actress was asked about Jaya Bachchan, she said that she gets upset very quickly. She even stated that the media house and people are defaming her forcefully. She explained that the Sholay actress used to get upset at silly things and was not fond of children. According to her, Jaya Bachchan gets mad at the paparazzi only when they are wrong.
Actress Farida Jalal was recently seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s hit series Heeramandi. Her work in this series was well acclaimed. In the same interview, she was seen expressing her displeasure with a certain filmmaker.
Farida Jalal mentioned that at one time she was very important to Karan Johar. She almost had a part in all of his movies. But today she is nowhere to be seen in his films. She said that “they shift loyalty" and it seems that now he has no role to offer to her in his films.

Farida Jalal appeared in Saif Ali Khan’s film Jawani Jaaneman in 2020 and Ittu Si Baat in 2022. After this, she appeared in Heeramandi in 2024. The actress said that she loves her work very much and she will never stop working.
