Varun Dhawan who recently became a father seems to be missing his daughter amidst a busy schedule. The actor is gearing up for his upcoming series Citadel: Honey Bunny, while Baby John and Border 2 are also in the pipeline. Those who follow the actor know how fond he is of his pet dog Joey. He often shares adorable videos of him. Adding to his Instagram, Varun dropped a new post on October 8 wherein he is seen feeding his furry friend and remarked, “Since I can’t feed my daughter, I’ll feed him.”
The cutesy video is packed with delightful glimpses as Varun Dhawan, dressed in a black vest with checkered shorts, sits comfortably on the floor, patiently feeding his pet. Captioning the post, the actor wrote, “Missed this!!!” and added Anuv Jain’s popular track, Jo Tum Mere Ho in the background. Varun Dhawan’s Citadel: Honey Bunny co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu reacted to the post. All hearts for the endearing moments shared between the actor and cute pet, Samantha wrote, “Favouritest” followed by a handful of red-heart emojis.
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal welcomed their baby daughter in June. The actor, expressing his delight to be a parent, posted a few pictures in June, marking Father’s Day. In one of the pictures, he was seen holding the fingers of his daughter while the other one showed him with his pet Joey’s claw. “Happy Father’s Day. My father taught me that the best way to celebrate this day is by going out there and working for your family, so I’ll be doing just that. Couldn’t be happier to be a girl dad,” Varun wrote, along with the picture.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan’s Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to release on November 7 on Prime Video. The action series is the Indian adaptation of the American series, Citadel. Directed by Raj & DK, it also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem and Sikandar Kher in key roles.
Varun Dhawan will also be seen in Baby John. The remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri, also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav. The film is reportedly set to hit theatres in December.
